چکیده
Forecasting of LME (London Metal Exchange) nickel prices remains an interesting topic but lacks consensus. This study aims to fill knowledge gaps by demonstrating the announcement effect export bans Indonesian government. article focuses on Indonesia because produces more than 60% global ore. We identified sequence two episodes in which ore appeared increase prices. The impact ban 2014 is somewhat larger that 2019. shock market was sustained for a while after implemented. believe this first has had unexpected effects within market.
